The 30th anniversary tour of Annie, once eyeing a Broadway run, will land at the Theater at Madison Square Garden this winter. It is scheduled to play in Gotham from December 6 through December 30, according to Variety.

Set in 1933 New York City and glowing with optimism, Annie is a popular favorite. The show includes the songs "NYC," "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile," "A New Deal For Christmas," "It's The Hard-Knocked Life" and "Tomorrow." Annie features music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and a book by Tom Meehan.

This Annie tour, directed by Charnin, launched in August 2005 in Seattle. It stars Marissa O'Donnell as Annie, Conrad John Schuck as Daddy Warbucks and Alene Robertson as Miss Hannigan.

This is the second year in a row the Theater at Madison Square Garden has hosted a once Broadway-bound revival. Last year it was Peter Pan, which also had a holiday-season run.
